Isaiah 40:31 " but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles: they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint."
When I saw this little guy at the feeder it reminded me of this verse.
God has a way of speaking to us and reminding us of His word even when we are not looking for it. How can a little bird such as this not grow weary of flying to this bird feeder in freezing cold temperatures, against the wind every day during the winter months? How does he do it?Just as he does not grow weary, God promises us that if we put our hope in Him he will continue to renew our strength day after day after day. No matter what the circumstances, no matter what the situation. When we get tired and can't do it and don't want to do it, He will carry us!
Do we let Him do that? If we believe in Him then we must have Hope in His Promises.
Have an awesome weekend!

That reminds me of a little tiny bird that took shelter under our awnings (sp?) during that nasty snow storm we got a few weeks back. He was gone every day but he always came back at dusk and curled up for the night. I always threw some bread out for him. It's amazing to think that he could survive through those nights though. It was nice to know, in a sense, I was his hope!
Thank you for this reminder, Brenda!
